How Kiln works
Kiln is a Solana intelligence agent. It buys answers from UsePod over x402, never executes trades, and never holds keys. This site is the token-gated front door. Hold 100K $KILN for the tape desk and the forge.
1. Token gate
Connect Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, or Glow. Kiln reads your $KILN balance for mint 4mUKmrt7DSBUv2spN7CYgjC7HUGbt2pZYd2ZFZ9B4uko. The tape desk, the forge, and the credits page all require at least 100,000 tokens.
2. Holder tape
After the gate, /tape reads a mint, ticker, or wallet without spending a chat credit. Holders get the live book, compare, Jupiter holdings, and recent signatures from public RPC. Chat still costs 1 credit per turn. Nothing here executes.
3. Credit ledger
The first time a wallet connects, it receives 5 free credits. That grant is one-time. Spends, refunds, and purchases write through the Kiln ledger API so navbar, chat, and buy stay in sync across devices on the same deploy. The browser keeps a local cache if the ledger is unreachable. Every query spends 1 credit after a reply is shown. Balances never expire.
- 10 credits = $2 (20¢ per query)
- 50 credits = $8 (16¢ per query, 20% off)
- 200 credits = $25 (12.5¢ per query, 37% off)
4. Payment and receipts
Pay USDC or native SOL on Solana mainnet to the agent treasury CQv4MvNnQ6jRUV4NzVUJczd61AmWXLgPhJuSuouKygtS. Sign from the connected wallet, scan a Solana Pay QR (USDC), or paste a transaction signature. Credits are added only after the ledger verifies the on-chain transfer and the signature has not been used before. Each successful pack shows an explorer receipt and lands in purchase history.
5. Chat / UsePod x402
A site credit is the fee for a chat turn. Name a mint, ticker, or wallet — Kiln reads DexScreener and Jupiter and always shows a reply in the thread, with sources and a timestamp. It never invents flow and never asks you to sign a second payment just to see a response. Watchlist pins and Discord/browser alerts are local. Swap, launch, and $ANSEM-as-payment requests are refused. The agent skill can run scripts/kiln_intel.py for the same tape.

6. Install the skill
The website is the front door. The agent skill lives in skills/kiln.
Hermes
mkdir -p ~/.hermes/skills cp -R skills/kiln ~/.hermes/skills/kiln
ClawPump
Add the hosted connector https://mcp.clawpump.tech/mcp in Cursor Settings → MCP, then call create_custom_skill with name Kiln and the body of skills/kiln/SKILL.md. Keep the Python scripts on disk next to that skill. Full stream: clawpump-import.md.
7. Deploy
Connect this repo to Netlify. Base directory web, build command npm run build. The Next plugin serves the ledger API. Do not re-drop a static zip for production — git deploys pick up ledger, receipts, and UsePod.
8. What Kiln will not do
- Sign a transaction or store a key
- Swap, trade, or launch a token
- Credit a payment that does not land in the treasury
- Reuse a transaction signature
- Treat $ANSEM as an x402 asset
